A Commitment to Progress

We recognise that sustainability is a journey. There are areas where we continue to improve, including supply chain visibility, packaging standards, material sourcing, and digital product transparency.

We believe that meaningful change comes through consistent action and continuous improvement. That is why we focus on measurable progress in areas such as supplier compliance, traceability, packaging, and the use of responsibly sourced materials. Our goal is simple: with every collection, we strive to do better than the one before.

Responsible Manufacturing

At Vingino, we believe that great products should be made responsibly. We work closely with our suppliers and partners to promote fair working conditions, improve transparency throughout our supply chain, and reduce our environmental impact. While we recognise there is still work to do, we are committed to making continuous progress year after year.

Our Supplier Code of Conduct

We require our suppliers to adhere to a Code of Conduct that sets clear expectations on labour rights, workplace safety, and ethical business practices. This includes prohibiting child labour and forced labour, supporting safe working conditions, respecting legal wages and working hours, and promoting equal treatment and freedom of association. Our standards are aligned with internationally recognised principles, including those of the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

To help ensure compliance with our standards, suppliers are assessed through independent social compliance audits using recognised industry frameworks, including amfori BSCI, SMETA, WRAP, and SA8000. Where improvements are needed, corrective action plans are implemented and monitored over time.

In addition, our sourcing and compliance teams regularly engage with suppliers to support continuous improvement and help address identified issues.

Long-Term Supplier Partnerships

We believe lasting improvements are best achieved through long-term partnerships. By building stable relationships with suppliers, we can work together to strengthen working conditions, improve processes, and drive meaningful change. Where challenges arise, we seek to support remediation and improvement before considering other options.

Supply Chain Transparency

We are working to improve visibility across our supply chain through our partnership with tex.tracer, a Dutch traceability platform. This initiative helps map the journey of our products from manufacturing through to finished garments.

Our ambition is to increase transparency across all supply chain tiers and, over time, provide customers with greater access to product information through digital solutions such as QR codes. These efforts also help us prepare for future regulatory requirements, including the EU Digital Product Passport framework.

Sustainable Packaging

We use GRS®-certified, 100% recycled polybags for our garments and FSC®-certified cardboard for outbound shipments. These choices help support responsible sourcing, material traceability, and reduced environmental impact.

We actively work to minimise packaging by reducing material usage and optimising pack sizes wherever possible. In addition, we are enhancing our supplier packaging requirements to encourage the adoption of more sustainable materials and standards across our supply chain.

Take care of your garment

A sustainable wardrobe includes more conscious shopping. The unique pieces you carefully select deserve proper care! Many clothing enthusiasts daily leave their clothes hanging over the chair, wash them incorrectly, or store them in such a way that they no longer look as intended after a month.

Washing & Care

By reducing the number of times you wash your clothes, you can actively help to reduce CO₂ emissions. Air your clothes and remove small stains by hand.

Drying

Dry your laundry outdoors and save energy. Your clothes will stay in shape and last even longer! Long live your Vingino items!

Temperature

Wash your clothes at a lower temperature. Keep in mind that the temperature on the care label is the maximum temperature your item can tolerate.

To iron

Iron your clothes only when absolutely necessary. Remove them from the washing machine immediately after washing. Hang them up as soon as possible to reduce wrinkles.
